Shower time

After the gym Georgi has to hit the shower and then wrap up in her new towel, thanks to the Malcolm's.

Gym time

Georgi has been hitting it hard at the gym everyday. We are keeping her to only protein bars and protein shakes, with a little supplement of breast milk on the side.

Shopping with Grandpa

Grandpa told Drew, Bauer and Rhett that this day was on Grandpa and "just toss it in the cart." (At Cabela's)

Gym time

We had a long hard day of rock climbing, sprints and basketball at the gym a couple of weeks ago. We needed to refill their bellies with proper nourishment so we hit up Dairy Queen. Well.......not the best choice, but they were happy. 

Trouble

The Boys were kicked  out of the house so they had to learn to live off the land. Bauer cut trees down to make a fire while Rhett dug out some igloo's for shelter. The boy's set many trap's in the yard and caught a bobcat, moose and a hippo. We will now have enough meat for the rest of the year. 

Mom/Wife

For all of you fans of our blog out there that are wondering what happened to our Mom and Wife. She has been busy helping with photography, working, feeding baby, putting baby to sleep, pumping milk, laundry, cooking, cleaning, getting ready to go back to work and financing our hockey rink(and maybe a zamboni). As she is so busy it is a rarity to find a picture of our amazing wife and mother. To prove she is still with us, here she is!

New book

It amazes me how much Bauer loves his books. I brought home a new book for him about batman and he just had to sit down in the snow and read it right away. He sat out there for 15 mins before he finally came in.

Fighter

I think she will be our little fighter. Look at her form with the mitts up by her face ready to go 12 rounds.

Daddy and Rhett

Rhett and I needed a break today so we went to Brainerd to pick up a few manly items such as diapers, baby wipes and more baby wipes.  I wanted to go eat a healthy salad, but Rhett talked me into Culvers. 

Anointed

It was so exciting for me to be invited to witness Georgi's anointment ceremony to the "Avengers" club. I was in tears as I watched Captain America give the final words of "from this day forward, you will be known as Super Woman." The ceremony concluded with Spider man singing his version of "Paradise City" by Guns N' Roses. All around, something I will never forget.

Screening

At Bauer's pre-school screening, he just want to talk to the nurse and make conversation. The nurse on the other hand wanted no chit-chat and was straight to business. Bauer feel's like he has two professional jobs in this world; 1. Play hockey 2. To talk with anyone who will listen.

Spring Break 2013

This is Georgi sitting at the pool on her first spring break vacation, catching some rays.

This is Georgi after a long day at the beach as she is just wore out from her vaca. She has already started to talk about next year's spring break down in Mexico and I hope she brings the whole family next year.

Boogey boy

Dad: Rhett, come here so I can wipe your nose.

Rhett: Nooooooo, I'm shoveling. 

Dad: Fine, shovel away.

I pick my battles to have with my boys and I didn't see a need to take a stand as he was happy working.  Besides, what is a little frozen snot.

(Also note, his jacket is wet from his snot.)

Music to my ears

Two kids crying, man thats nothing, only music two my ears. So far I have not heard three kids crying at once and I will do everything possible to make sure its does not as I have stocked up on chocolate.

Lesson #1

Rhett: Why does dad have his jacket off?

Bauer: Oh Rhett, you will learn that whenever dad does something mechanical it takes twice as long because he has no idea what he is doing. He won't tell you that though.

Rhett: Should I go get Grandpa?

Bauer: No, no young one. Dad will get it going. He will be out of breath and wore out, but the old man will get it going.

Spring rink

For all of my rink fans, our rink has taken a beating this past week. The weather was in the 20's and really sunny and I have the sun on the rink for all of the mornings and half of the afternoon before it gets past the pine trees. In its current condition we can't even skate on it and I have grass showing in one corner. The good news is that we can still play boot hockey!

Chow time

This is a little USMC coming out in me. I had the boys eat lunch on the go next to the door so we could get going as soon as they were done eating....they thought it was great.

Girls' night in

While the boys went out the ladies stayed in. I don't know everything that happened while we were at the movies, except these pictures showing that they were doing push-ups, which is great as we need to get Georgi caught up with the boys.

Boys' night out

The boys and I needed to get out away from all this estrogen going on in our household and since our rink is in the process of melting we had to hit the town. We hit it hard, we went to a movie and it was actually Rhett's first movie. We loaded up on popcorn, root beer and candy along with our 3-D glasses.....however I was the only one who wanted to wear them.
