The Annual Flatau Halloween Bash

Halloween Party #2 for the Walter's. I was Paul Bunyan and naturally my wife was Babe the Blue Ox. Rhett was a teenage mutant ninja turtle. Bauer was Captain America (his costume is a 2t and Bauer is 4 years old). Georgi was a Minnesota Wild cheerleader. 

I won't say any names of who won the Halloween costume contest, however the winner is standing next to Jill, in the yellow dress and Rhett can't even bare to look that way as he was so scared! 

Can anyone recognize the evil Halloween pumpkin?

Halloween Party #1

For all of you hard core "Hold On, Dad!" followers, you already know that Halloween is the cream of the crop at our house. If you would ask my boys what holiday they look forward to the most, it would most definitely be Halloween. Luckily we have four Halloween Parties to hit up this year. Now usually on a daily basis we have some sort of costume on at our house, so we really don't know what the boys are going to be for Halloween. Thirty minutes before this picture was taken Bauer just put on his Dracula cape, Rhett found his shark costume and we shoved Georgi into this lion outfit.

GET 'ER DONE

The farm has been short help so they called in the big dog to help shovel some corn. Bauer told me this is his favorite job and as you can see by the picture he is eagerly waiting for the next load.

Wild

A few of our favorite hockey players have been in a big slump. Here we are trying to diagnose what they have been doing wrong. We did figure out the problem, they need to bare down and score. It was so easy to figure it out on the kitchen table!

From boy to man

My little boy (Bauer) has entered manhood and he is now 4. The highlights of the day was the superman cake and a new bike. Bauer does not know it yet, but it is that bike that has brought him into manhood and the freedom of life. Now that he has that bike he can just go whenever he wants, he may just take off on me at any moment to go off Toledo or San Diego.......whereever he wants! Yep, Bauer is a real man now.

Opening night

In honor of opening night of the 2013-2014 NHL hockey season. We are ready to hit the ice!
