We were late for practice, however I am late for everything with three kids. Before we had kids, jill and I were early for everything, actually 15 mins prior. Now we are either late or right on time. Oh well, something to work on.

First skate
These pics were taken a few weeks ago. This is very early considering our first skate last year was the second week of January. So far we have been working on our boot hockey skills as it has just been a very cold December. The rink could have been complete much earlier however it has been just to cold to make ice. Boys have been working hard and we will be back to midseason form in no time.

WHY
WHY is it so hard for my kids to take a good picture? WHY don't they know how to smile on command?
The annual Christmas tree slaughter
The weekend after Thanksgiving is our annual green tree slaughter. We spotted this mounter about 50 yards out while weaving in and out of the tree line. We saw many other mounters, but we knew this one had to go down and right to our living room. Here are the kids right after the big fight, but as you can see, we came out on top. (Side note, Bauer brought his own axe.)
Well…….not so much.
"No Santa, I will not sit on your lap, however I will take that candy you have and bring me a Monster Inc. toy."
