I initially thought we would be skating by the middle of December. However I did not realize how uneven the ground in our backyard actually was and how long it was going to take for me to build up the ice so it would be level. Needless to say building a backyard rink has been a learning process, but so far it has been worth it to see the boys, especially Bauer enjoy it.
